We deeply believe that food is a very good way to learn about the culture, traditions and customs of the locals and what can be better than a cooking class. Join us for a unique cuisine experience and delight everyone back at home with typical Mendocinian empanadas, home-made bread and ¨carnes asadas¨ (grilled meat). Food and drink, this life is!
Eating like a local is an important aspect of getting an accurate look at a culture. What is perhaps even more rewarding than eating like a local is understanding the ingredients and care that goes in to the preparation of the local cuisine.

Option 1 - FAMILIA ZUCCARDI WINERY
This family company was founded in 1963 by Engineer Alberto Zuccardi. In those times, he began planting vines in Maipú (province of Mendoza), experimenting with an irrigation system of his own creation based on a method used in California. Forty five years after the starting point of this path, there are three generations joined by a passion for wine. In September 2007, the prestigious magazine DECANTER acknowledged José Alberto and Sebastián Zuccardi as being among the five most influential personalities of Argentine Wine.
Bearing the name of ¨Casa del Visitante¨, this tourism enterprise of the winery welcomes visitors from all around the world offering them different activities such as the possibility to learn with their chef how to prepare traditional recipes and then taste them during the lunch at the restaurant.
Option 2 - FINCA ADALGISA Wine Lodge
After her studies at Escuela Islas Malvinas in Mendoza, a successful stay at 1884 Restaurant from the well known chef Francis Mallmann, a working experience in Chile, Cristina Brino arrived at Finca Adalgisa Wine Lodge with her cooking classes.
The classes are held on a special prepared place underneath the old walnut tree, where we will prepare not only "empanadas mendocinas" in the clay oven but also, meat and vegetables on the open fire with fresh chumichurri sauce based on Arauca olive oil form the Finca itself. We finish the class with a desert: caramelized fruit from the clay oven, topped off with herbs from the Finca.
Option 3 - LA TUPIÑA BISTRO (Uco Valley)
Located in Tupungato, Uco Valley, which presents the highest altitudes at which wines are produced in the province of Mendoza (up to 1,700 meters above sea level), this intimate and exclusive restaurant run by chef Lucas Bustos invite us to live an unforgettable cooking experience that put together regional recipes, products from the Uco Valley and above all, its people hospitality. Empanadas, chivito a la cacerola, huevos quimbo, ambrosia, among others, are some of the dishes that will show you our traditions.
Our cooking lessons are about much more than a list of ingredients and how to cook them. Everyone who enjoys quality time with fine wines and food should enjoy these tours. We wish to introduce this philosophy into the cooking experience for a memorable and valuable cooking class.
