Day 1: Welcome to Mendoza

Arrival to Mendoza and airport meet and greet and transfer to your hotel/lodge. Day at leisure to explore the city.

At night, dinner is included at Nadia O.F Restaurant, located in the very heart of Chacras de Coria, an upscale suburb of Mendoza City surrounded by vineyards and old wineries. It’s a fusion cooking between spanish and moroccan dishes.

Day 2: Luján de Cuyo & Maipú, the cradle of Malbec

Dive into understanding more of Argentina’s most beloved grape—Malbec. Today explore the different microclimates in the region of Luján de Cuyo to better get to know this grape’s unique expression.

Your  first  visit  will  be  to  Bodega Achaval Ferrer, a  boutique  winery  which  produces only limited quantities of high quality red wines. A strong passion and shared  love  for Mendoza’s  terrain brought  the perfect union of Argentinean  and  Italian  friends  to  launch  their  esteemed winery  in 1998.  

Your next stop is at Bodega Kaiken. Just as Kaikenes (wild geese, indigenous to Patagonia) fly over Patagonia, criss-crossing the land between Chile and Argentina, so have Montes Wines crossed over the Andes and into Argentina, with the firm purpose of producing fine wines, resulting from a perfect combination of the exceptional conditions given in the Mendoza area, plus the work of talented professionals, both Chilean and Argentine.

For the grand finale, we continue to Bodega Ruca Malén, where we’ll enjoy a one-of-a-kind dining experience. From the foothills of the Andes Mountains, the focus of Ruca Malen is producing wines that speak of the land and their commitment to the environment. There, you will taste their entire wine list, including their famous and iconic "Kinien".  The dining room is located inside a glass room in the vineyards with a view of the Andes. The menu is amazing and the courses are universally excellent, with clever taste combinations, great presentation and appropriate wine matching.

Day 3: Cooking Up Romance

Cooking is a perfect excuse for doing something together. The physical side of it becomes an essential part of the cooking turning everything into a very romantic moment.

We pick you up at 09.30am to visit the exclusive high-altitude wine growing area of Valle de Uco and enjoy a really hand-on cooking class at Bodega Andeluna.

Their cuisine philosophy is of constant change. It combines the freshness of the products of each season and the delights typical of our country, inviting you to savor the flavors of Argentina’s seven regions. Today, learn with their chef how to prepare traditional recipes like “empanadas mendocinas” in the clay oven, meat and vegetables on the open fire with fresh chumichurri sauce, among other specialties, which then, we’ll taste during the lunch along with aselection of premium wines that complements each course.

You will then head back to your hotel, having enjoyed a day full of nature, excellent regional food, and amazing wines.

Day 4: Spa Day

After the stress of planning one of the biggest days of your life, it’s time to pamper yourself with a relaxing and rewarding spa break. Slip into a world of relaxation at Cacheuta Spa Resort and treat yourself to some quality ‘you’ time.

We set off at 09.00am towards the pre-Andes mountain range for a complete spa experience that quite literally caters to your every need.

Hot mineral springs have been bubbling forth at this historic spa next to the Mendoza River since 1885, when visitors arrived by train from Buenos Aires. Today hotel guests and day-trippers begin their day with a steamy sauna in the grotto, followed by a high-powered hot shower, and then a Jacuzzi.

Next get slathered with hot mud and wait until it dries in the sun (or via heater if nature's taking a day off). After rinsing off in another shower, a variety of indoor and outdoor pools kept at varying temperatures invite long soaks.

Break for lunch while gazing to the magnificence of the Andes and enjoying each other’s company.

Day 5: To Home

Check OUT from the hotel and transfer to Mendoza airport. Ask about optional add-on trips to the cosmopolitan glamour of Buenos Aires, wine tasting in the foothills of the Andes in Salta& Chile. Extra days must be arranged in advance. End of our services.
